BazSite

Terms of use

In short

The terms that apply to anyone who opens a BazSite account, builds a website with it or pays for a plan.

1. Who we are

BazSite is a system for building, hosting and managing websites, operated by Uzi Aluf ("BazSite" or "we"). Contact us at bazsite@aluftech.co.il or by phone at +972-54-653-0335.

2. Your account

  • Opening an account requires a valid email address, verified with a code.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe, and for everything done in your account.
  • An agency or website builder that opens an account for a client is also responsible to us for the client's use.

3. Trial period

A new business owner's account gets a 30-day trial with no credit card, within the limits of the trial plan. During the trial the website is not shown on Google. At the end of the trial you choose a plan, or the website goes offline. A website with no plan is kept for six months from the day it went offline or from the last login to the system, and is then deleted. Reminders are sent by email 30 days and 7 days before deletion.

4. Plans and payment

  • Prices are shown on the pricing page and include VAT where it applies.
  • Payment is monthly or yearly, in advance, by recurring charge through the payment provider SUMIT. Card details are not stored by us.
  • An upgrade takes effect immediately, and you pay the prorated difference. A move to a cheaper plan takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
  • Add-ons (an extra website, a language, credits and more) are charged at the price shown when you order them.
  • A price change will be announced at least 30 days in advance, and applies from the billing period after the notice.

4a. Team services: website builds and work hours

  • "We build your website" is a one-time paid service, at the price shown on the We build your website page when you order (currently $299 including VAT).
  • We build from the information the business gives us, in the questionnaire or on a call with the team. The build includes planning, keyword research, content written around the keywords and 3 home page designs. You pick one of them, and the whole website is built on it.
  • Not included: unlimited designs, a design from a Figma file or a design the client brings, development of special features, an online store or payments on the website.
  • Design guidelines (colors, style, websites you like) are given in the first step of the questionnaire. After a design is chosen, further changes are made by you in the system or in team work hours.
  • The monthly plan you chose starts when the website goes live.
  • Team work hours are sold in advance, at the hourly price shown when you order (currently $75 including VAT). Time is recorded in quarter hours and taken off your balance. Whatever isn't used stays in your account balance. If a request needs more time than your balance holds, we'll ask for approval and payment of the difference before we go on.
  • Cancelling a build order before we started working on it gives a full refund. After work has started (the planning call or filling in the questionnaire), the refund is for the part not yet done, less cancellation fees as allowed by law. Work hours that were paid for and not used are refunded on request, less cancellation fees as allowed by law.

5. Cancellation

  • You can cancel at any time from your account, or by contacting us at bazsite@aluftech.co.il or by phone at +972-54-653-0335.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and no further payment is charged.
  • Your cancellation rights under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and its regulations, including cancelling an ongoing transaction, apply in full, as do any consumer rights that the law of your own country gives you and that cannot be waived.
  • For a yearly plan cancelled mid-year, the prorated part of the remaining months is refunded, less the yearly discount and cancellation fees as allowed by law.

6. A website that wasn't paid for

A website whose plan has ended goes offline, but is kept. After 180 days with no payment and no activity, the website is saved in a backup outside the server and deleted from the system. A notice is sent by email before that.

7. Your content

  • The content, images and details you put on the website belong to you, and you are responsible for them: that they are legal, accurate and that you have the right to use them.
  • Text, designs and images that the system creates for you with artificial intelligence are yours to use on the website. It's worth going over them before publishing, because they may contain mistakes.
  • The system may not be used for illegal, offensive or misleading content, for spam or to infringe the rights of others. Such a website may be taken offline without prior notice.

7a. Importing an existing website

  • You may only import a website that is yours, or one for which you hold all the rights and permissions to copy its content, images and design.
  • Before every import you tick a statement saying so. The statement is kept by us (who, when, which address, from which IP address and in which wording), and will be used by us towards the rights holder or in legal proceedings, if it turns out that the copying infringes someone else's rights.
  • Copying someone else's website without permission, and especially a competitor's, is forbidden. The responsibility for it lies only with whoever imported the website, and they will indemnify BazSite for any claim, lawsuit or expense caused to it as a result.
  • If we receive a well-founded complaint about a website copied without permission, we may take it offline without prior notice, and close the account.

8. Domains and email

A domain you connect stays registered to you, with your own domain registrar. We are not responsible for renewing it, but the system warns you before it expires.

9. Availability, backups and liability

  • We make a reasonable effort to keep websites available and backed up, but we do not guarantee full, fault-free availability.
  • To the extent the law allows, our liability for any damage caused in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event, and we are not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of income or profit.

10. Privacy

How we protect your information is explained in the privacy policy.

11. Changes to the terms

We will update the terms from time to time, and will notify you by email of any material change. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept it.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction.

The Hebrew version of these terms is the binding one; this English version is provided for convenience.
