1. Open an account
Sign up and get a 30-day free trial, no credit card. During that time you build the whole website and see it live, on a temporary address.
2. Fill in 4 details about the business
The business name, field, phone, and a few sentences about what you do and for whom. Have a logo? Upload it right here, and the design is built around its colors. Everything else (address, social networks, extra pages, websites you liked) is optional. Press "Build my website", and you can close the page.
3. Pick keywords
The system checks which words people really type into Google when they look for a business like yours, and you get an email when they're ready. You see them as tiles, the recommended ones already ticked, and you can remove or add. Didn't get to it? After two days the system goes on with the recommended ones.
Behind the scenes: planning and writing
From the keywords the system plans the website (home, about, a page for each service, FAQ, contact and blog articles) and writes all the texts in your business's voice. Each page gets a keyword of its own, so the pages don't compete with each other.
4. Choose one of 3 designs
You get an email: 3 home page designs, with your real content, on desktop and mobile. Pick the one you like, or write what to change.
5. The website is live
The system designs the rest of the pages in the same style, sets titles and descriptions for Google, checks links, images and the mobile view, and puts the website up on a temporary address. You go over it and fix whatever's needed. The website stays closed to Google until you approve, and then you connect your own domain with one record at your domain registrar. The SSL certificate is created on its own.
And after launch
- Editing: in the system's editor, or by writing in plain words what to change.
- Daily backups: go back to an earlier version of a page or the whole website.
- Monitoring and a report: an uptime check every 5 minutes and a monthly report.
- Ongoing SEO: on plans with SEO, new articles every month and Google rank tracking.
Between the steps the system works on its own, and emails you when it needs you.
